The HSE Manager will be responsible for:
-Acting as a contact person to external experts;
-Researching, advising and reporting occupational hygiene and safety issues;
-Carrying out occupational hygiene and safety projects;
-Investigating, analyzing and reporting risks and incidents related to safety, health, welfare and environment;
-Promoting awareness of safety, health, welfare and the environment;
-Drawing up and implementing policy plans, annual plans, annual reports and OSH-related regulations, in accordance with the safety and environmental policy determined by the SGS Group and relevant Dutch and European legislation and standards, as well as monitoring implementation;
-Initiating preventive measures and monitoring the implementation of preventive and corrective measures regarding OSH;
-Holding or accompanying HSE inspections and audits
-Contribute to projects in the field of sustainability and business continuity plans.
The HSE Manager will have:
-You are available full time; 32 hours is negotiable;
-A completed training in Higher Safety / Occupational Hygiene;
-A completed environmental science course is an advantage;
-You have good knowledge of and experience with relevant laws and regulations;
-You have sufficient knowledge of and experience with management systems (e.g. ISO 45001, ISO 14001)
-You have several years of relevant work experience in the HSE domain;
-Work experience in laboratories and/or the (pharmaceutical, process or chemical) industry is an advantage;
-You have good social and communication skills;
-Excellent command of the Dutch and English language.
