An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a specialist property management company as a Health and Safety Manager. Working in an autonomous role this person will have an all-encompassing role. Reporting into the board and setting strategy whilst retaining hands on responsibilities such as designing and delivering training, conducting audits and investigating accidents.

The Health and Safety Manager will be responsible for:

• Leading on developing and maintaining a strong Health and Safety culture, liaising with staff at all levels
• Ensuring management of all Risk Assessments, Method Statements and Audits
• Build effective relationships with senior leaders, ensuring they are aware of their Health and Safety responsibilities
• Be accountable for the creation and review of all policy documents, control measures and permits to work
• Undertake audits of the HSE management system, ensuring external accreditations are maintained

The Health and Safety Manager will have:

• NEBOSH/ NCRQ Diploma or equivalent qualification; ideally Grad or Chartered member of IOSH
• Experience working in a standalone H&S position
• Ideally worked in Property/ Facilities Management or relatable sectors
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships at all levels
