£75,000 - £90,000 plus package

We are looking for an experienced Health & Safety professional to join a specialist civil engineering principal contractor, to lead the Health & Safety team across the UK. This position will report into the MD and be responsible for creation and driving of strategy. The ideal candidate will be an experience H&S professional who has worked in civil engineering and lead teams and operated at senior/strategic level

The Health & Safety Manager will be responsible for:
- Leading the Health & Safety team and promoting a positive health & safety culture
- Responsible for providing accurate data to board level on a monthly basis, mentoring trends and providing solutions
- Creating and implementation of a 5 year health & safety strategy
- Leading on incidents and accident investigation when required.

The Health & Safety Manager will have:
- 5 years' experience working in Health & Safety
- Previous experience leading a team of health and safety professionals
- Civil engineering experience
- NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent - Grad IOSH minimum, ideally CMIOSH or working towards
- Experience implementing and developing a robust health and safety strategy
