Shirley Parsons is excited to partner on a very exciting opportunity working as a Global Senior Health and Safety Manager for a prestigious Sailing Events Company. This role will see you travelling globally, to events in locations such as Saint Tropez, Sydney, Bermuda and Dubai to name a few. The Global Senior Health and Safety Manager will be responsible for Health and Safety for all aspects of the events and also working at a corporate level.

** Candidates must be commutable to London and be happy to travel Globally **

The Global Senior Health and Safety Manager will be responsible for:

  • Travelling to events globally, and leading on Event Safety, including temporary construction, water safety and transportation
  • Chairing the Event Risk Management Committee, reporting to the board on Global Safety and Risk
  • Working with In-Country Event Managers for each country to establish local safety protocols and ensure they are implemented appropriately
  • Communicating effectively with staff at all levels from site teams to board level and influencing on safety in a fast paced environment


The Global Senior Health and Safety Manager will have:

  • Extensive experience in Health and Safety, ideally in Events or similar environments
  • Experience working in a Global role, working with different in-country legislation and safety protocol
  • Level 6 Diploma in Health and Safety and GradIOSH/CMIOSH preferrable
  • Ability to travel globally on a monthly basis
