Shirley Parsons have exclusively partnered with a national accreditation body who have an opening for a HSE Manager. The post holder will be responsible for advising on the internal statutory health, safety, social accountability, and environmental requirements as they affect the whole business. This will ideally be site based, hybrid working arrangements may be considered, and will suit candidates residing in and around Surrey.

The HSE Manager will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring policies and procedures relating to HSE management are written, up to date, understood and adhered to.
  • Collaborating with all business stakeholders to deliver the Health & Safety Policy, including managing the approach to risk assessment and controls.
  • Providing accurate, timely and technical advice to colleagues in resolving HSE management issues.
  • Managing HSE inductions, awareness, course bookings and the skills matrix associated.


The ideal HSE Manager requires:

  • Working experience of current HSE management practices in the workplace.
  • A NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety or equivalent.
  • IEMA Foundation course in Environmental Management or equivalent.
  • Ability to adapt to assessing risk across a vast range of sectors/environments.
