A Health & Safety Advisor opportunity has arose to join their team cover projects in and around the area of Doncaster.
The Health & Safety Advisor will be responsible for:
- Identifying workplace hazards and assess their risk level. Develop and implement control measures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Developing and implementing health and safety policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and industry standards.
- Delivering health and safety training to employees, management, and other stakeholders, promoting best practices and encouraging a culture of safety.
- Investigating accidents and incidents, analyze root causes, and recommend corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
The Health & Safety Advisor will have:
- Strong working relationship building across all levels of the organization, and the ability to collaborate effectively with other departments to resolve health and safety issues.
- Excellent communication skills and work effectively with both internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory authorities and contractors.
- Hold a TechIOSH membership, demonstrating a strong commitment to professional development in the field of occupational health and safety.
- 2+ years of experience in Construction Health & Safety, with a proven track record of successfully managing health and safety programs in the construction industry.
