Shirley Parsons have exclusively partnered with an events company who have an opening for a Group SHEQ Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting a culture of good health & safety practice throughout the group and overseeing the implementation and development of the Health, Safety, Environmental, Quality and Sustainability function. This position will have a focus on the company depots and offices as well as involvement in wider Health and Safety across events.

The Group SHEQ Manager will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining and developing group SHEQ policies and continuous improvement strategies
  • Identifying group training needs in accordance with legislation and identified risk control measures
  • Maintaining and developing the group management system and third-party certification requirements in line with ISO 45001/9001/14001/20121
  • Assisting the Health and Safety Manager and the Group Senior Management Team in any other Health & Safety related support as required

The Group SHEQ Manager will have:

  • Experience in a Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Management or Advisory role ideally in Events or temporary construction/Engineering
  • Level 3 Certificate in Health and Safety (such as NEBOSH/NCRQ Certificate) - Essential
  • Lead Auditor qualification (ISO 45001/14001/9001) - Essential
  • Certificate in Environmental Management (or equivalent)
