A major paint and coatings manufacturer is looking for a motivated EHS Advisor for their plant in Amsterdam. With a new HSE Manager this year, this is the perfect opportunity for someone who is looking to be a part of improving and implementing a new EHS Management system and safety culture.

The EHS Advisor will:
-Communicate and implement EHS legal and PPG requirements effectively.
-Build strong relationships with stakeholders and participate in leadership teams.
-Support risk analysis and risk reduction initiatives, with a focus on dangerous goods and incident investigations.
-Identify EHS training needs and ensure successful implementation.
-Participate in safety observation rounds and drive corrective and improvement actions.

The EHS Advisor will have:
-Bachelor's degree in prevention, chemistry, engineering or a related science (less than 2 years of experience is acceptable).
-MVK certificate holder or willingness to obtain one in the near future.
-Strong affinity with environmental topics.
-Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
-Team player with a strong interest in fire prevention, hazardous products and industrial hygiene.
-Ability to work closely with production and operations teams.
