SHP Awards celebrate the achievements of the brightest and most passionate health & safety professionals. From young, up and coming rising stars and leaders of tomorrow to our most seasoned, influential ambassadors and trailblazers who positively impact safety, health, and wellbeing.
The awards take place annually and are free to enter, with nominations reviewed by an independent panel of judges. Winners are announced online and receive various prizes, including coaching and development opportunities. For 2021, we're excited to be collaborating with SHP as sponsors of the Awards, as well as having three of our own on the independent judging panel: Shona Paterson– Director of Talent Consultancy; Liam Tiddy– Head of Executive Search; Tim Fowler, Senior HSE Consultant for Shirley Parsons Project Services.

The Most Influential Individual award recognises people from practitioners, leaders, and senior Government officials. Who's had the most meaningful and most positive impact on health and safety in the UK this year?
An award close to our hearts. In 2020, we were excited to hear that our very own Shirley Parsons was shortlisted as a nominee for her actions in inspiring and supporting women in the HSEQ sector. And Shirley Parsons, as a company, was also recognised for assisting organisations in managing their health and safety responsibilities during the pandemic. Last but not latest, in celebration of our 15th anniversary, we raised over £1,500 for charity—our broader fundraising efforts to celebrate our 15th anniversary.
The awards Awards coincide with the launch of our new HSEQ talent tool, MAPP, and we're excited to offer assessments to all finalists. MAPP is an original tool explicitly designed for the HSEQ sector that incorporates key personality traits and aspirations required to be most effective within an HSEQ role.
