Webinar: Next Step Safety Forum - How to climb the H&S career ladder

​​Next Step Safety is an all-inclusive forum within the Health and Safety industry that looks to collaborate with like-minded professionals on how they can take the next step in their career, whatever that might be.

In our first forum on 30th March 2021, 3 different Health & Safety Managers will share their career journey, providing insight, tips and advice from their experiences.

Forum attendees will get the opportunity to ask questions of the panel and gain inspiration on how to start climbing the career ladder in Health and Safety.

Registration to the forum is open and free to everyone. It will last between 45 minutes and 1 hour depending on the volume of questions!

Feel free to share this event with anyone wanting advice about developing their career in Health & Safety.

Speakers:

Fiona Power, Health and Safety Manager, SCS Railways
Fiona is a Health and Safety Manager working on SCS Railways in Area West. She is a Chartered Member of IOSH with experience working on major London infrastructure projects including London Underground, Crossrail and High Speed 2.

Arminder Khaira, Health and Safety Manager, St George PLC
Arminder is a Health and Safety Manager working for a Property Developer. Arminder works across the different functions within the business providing advice, support and coaching from construction professionals through to Estates management. She is passionate about inspiring young people in the industry, changing behaviours and influencing positive engagement.  

Blair Boyd, Group SHE Manager and Executive Member of the West Scotland IOSH branch
Blair holds a BSc in Occupational Safety and Health and has worked in a variety of industries including construction, rail, telecommunications, and utilities. He is passionate about supporting the development of the next generation of safety and health practitioners and volunteers for IOSH as a Development Coordinator and Educational Liaison.
