A rapidly growing engineering firm is seeking a highly skilled Environmental Project Manager to help clients achieve and maintain environmental regulatory compliance, specifically as it pertains to Stormwater compliance within Southern California. This role is based in Long Beach, CA The role: Prepare stormwater applications and compliance reports under WQMD Conducting water quality and water quantity studies, special studies, and regulatory compliance interpretations and implementation services.Conduct on-site visits and inspections with clients, including delivering trainingServe as the technical expert on all matters relating to watershed management, industrial permits, and construction stormwater reportsPerform active client management and business development; meeting sales objectives, maintaining sales plans, and updating forecasts The Candidate: Bachelor's or Master's degree is  in a STEM related field of studyA minimum of 6 years' (ideally 7 to 10) experience in Stormwater Quality permitting, specifically within the states of California or WashingtonA track record of growing an existing book of business, and successfully managing a client baseUnderstanding of the Los Angeles Region Phase I NPDES Permit;Advanced proficiency with SMARTS and CEQA

A leading provider of environmental compliance training and publications is looking to appoint a RCRA Seminar Presenter and Technical Writer to join their existing team, based from Denver, CO. Involving approximately 25-35% travel, this individual will be tasked with presenting seminars on RCRA regulations, both in-house at client locations, as well as at public seminars throughout the country. Renowned for their quality, the firm has a rigorous training and mentorship program to ensure the RCRA Presenter will be fully equipped with the tools and guidance to ensure they deliver unparalleled service.The Role: Presenting seminars on the RCRA regulations, both at public events and in-house for clients    Regularly conducting regulatory research and keeping abreast of any updatesProviding technical customer service, answering inquiries on environmental regulatory complianceWriting technical content regarding RCRA compliance for regular and annual publishingSeminar development, new publishing development, and entrepreneurial opportunities The Candidate: Minimum of 4-6+ years of RCRA knowledge, as well as industrial plant experience   BS degree in chemical/environmental engineering, or a related technical fieldComfortable with public speaking and presenting to large groups  Intellectually curious, with a passion for reading, writing, and researchExceptional written and verbal communication
