This appointment is to reinforce this commitment and support the company’s Food Safety & Quality Culture through its next phase of development. This is a permanent position working 40 Hours per week Monday – Friday, reporting to the Head of Quality. QA Coordinator Responsibilities:
Working within our QA/QC team you will be part of a highly motivated and quality-driven team, brewing and packaging beers of unsurpassed character and flavour.This is a hands-on role, supporting our existing brewing and packaging operations.Provide technical and analytical support to meet critical controls & ensure compliance both internal and external & communicate these results appropriately.Ensuring all non-conformances & customer complaints are reported & documented with timely & appropriate corrective action taken.Drive the evolution of our BRCGS-certified Food Safety & Quality Management System by fostering a continuous improvement approach to Food Safety & Quality Culture and deliver a high standard of food safety and GMP.Maintain production records, ensuring all are kept up to date, correctly completed and filed & manage the traceability system, carrying out traceability & critical device calibration exercises when required.Perform compliance activities & audits to satisfy internal & external customer requirements such as GMP audits and intake control.Assist in managing & procuring necessary resources to support Production Quality Objective.
QA Coordinator Skills & Attributes:Functional
Ideally you will possess two years experience working in a food manufacturing QA environment.Demonstrable experience as an active member of a HACCP team.A working knowledge of food safety auditing with relevant qualifications.Experience in analytical and quality management systems in line with BRCGS would be advantageous.Demonstrable knowledge of Microsoft Office Products for use in data recording, analysis and documentation management.

Flexibility, is key to the successful operation of the QA/QC department.You should be educated to RQF level 4 or above, a self- starter with an ability to deliver your work in an intelligent, collaborative, practical and enthusiastic manner.Personally effective, with good communication skills both written and verbal, with a collaborative ‘Can Do’ attitude and excellent attention to detail. Demonstrable organisational ability a must.
