Background
One of the largest global Programme and Project Management organisations had won several high-profile projects in the UK but were finding it difficult to resource. The specialist and high security nature of the projects meant that specific HSEQ knowledge of the industry was needed, along with security clearance.

Implementation
Initially the most critical position was a project Quality Manager which Shirley Parsons was able to deliver quickly and successfully. Through this initial position they realised that they had a need to improve quality management at a strategic level across each of their UK projects. Shirley Parsons provided a senior level associate who quickly identified the steps required and generated an overall plan for strategic quality management and governance.
The success of this task demonstrated the value of Shirley Parsons Project Services as a key partner to the organisation and they were quickly given additional key positions to fill including an Environmental and Sustainability Specialist and a H&S Director, who’s been appointed to board level. Shirley Parsons has since continued to support the organisation’s growth with the delivery of numerous HSEQ professionals.
Leveraging the full strength of Senior Associates and in-house capabilities, the team developed strong relationships from projects right up to board level and used their sector expertise to deliver the rapid deployment of skilled HSEQ professionals.
In just 12 months Shirley Parsons have provided the organisation with a range of HSEQ professionals across Quality, Environmental, Sustainability, H&S, Criticality, Corporate Advisory Services and Document Control.
The Outcome
The organisation’s challenges with resourcing have been solved by the provision of HSEQ expertise from Shirley Parsons. The partnership has enabled them to achieve high standards of compliance and successfully deliver on their UK projects. This in turn has ensured the continued growth of the company in the UK and aided in the bidding of new projects.
