The SHP Awards
Shirley Parsons is proud to collaborate once again with SHP to celebrate the achievements of the brightest and most passionate health & safety professionals. From young, up and coming rising stars and leaders of tomorrow to our most seasoned, influential ambassadors and trailblazers making a positive impact in safety, health and wellbeing.
The awards take place annually and are free to enter, with nominations reviewed by an independent panel of judges. Gerry Pearson – Director, Shirley Parsons Project Services; Shona Paterson– Director of Talent Insight; Shirley Parsons and Philip Muston, Head of UK Careers, Shirley Parsons, join the star-studded Judging Panel alongside James Pomeroy, Heather Beach, Jimmy Quinn, Ruth Denyer, Cindy Bell and others.
Winning means you’ll get your name in lights on the SHP website, highlighting your victory and showcasing your achievements to over 600,000 annual visitors. The awards will culminate at the Safety and Health Expo in May at the Excel in London, where winners and finalists will come together for networking events to share best practices among past and present winners.
The 2022 line-up consists of eight awards, including a new 2022 Trailblazer in ESG.

Finalists and winners will be announced in early December, with trophies for the winners along with an exciting opportunity from Shirley Parsons for all finalists and winners to learn more about themselves and their teams through their unique profiling tool. HSEQ specific, the tool combines personality profiling and aspirations capture to create a rich profile of an individual's strengths and areas for development. Self-awareness aids your development but also aids your understanding of others and how you influence and engage with others to achieve goals and aspirations.
We were thrilled to join some of the finalists and winners at the Shirley Parsons Networking Forum at the Safety and Health Expo earlier this year, and we're looking forward to doing so again next year. It's a brilliant way to meet and network with super talented people.
