At Shirley Parsons, we believe in living with purpose and providing a better future. Far wider than making great talent matches and enabling client success, our corporate responsibility goes much further. Our commitment to doing things ethically, ‘in the right way’, has always been a fundamental part of the Shirley Parsons ethos.

As testimony to our approach, in 2019, we were proud to be awarded the Bronze level by CSR Accreditation, followed quickly by the Silver award in 2021. We were also the first company to receive re-accreditation.

Now, we have achieved gold accreditation, and are the first organisation to progress through all three accreditation levels, which showcases our commitment to continuous improvement and excellence. These Awards highlight how the business has effectively integrated our social, environmental, ethical, human rights and consumer concerns into our business strategy and operations, and it is a badge we wear with great pride.

Florence Nightingale Hospice

Shirley Parsons are proud to partner with Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity (FNH) as our charity partner for the year 2024. FNH are a reputable local organisation who provide crucial care and support to those with life-limiting illnesses and their families. By joining forces, we aim to fulfil our corporate social responsibility, engage our employees, and contribute meaningfully to the wellbeing of our local community.

FNH has been a pillar of support in our community since 1989, offering specialised clinical, practical, and emotional assistance to patients and their families. As the sole bedded unit in Buckinghamshire for respite and end-of-life care, the hospice plays a vital role, and their services are provided free of charge.
