Description

This major developer and property management company has a strong construction and asset portfolio across the UK and Europe. The company has a strong reputation of being a leader in the areas of Health, Safety and Environmental management and wishes to continue to raise standards by appointing an Internal Lead Auditor to cover the EMEA region.

The role:

• Lead an agreed number of audits across the EMEA portfolio
• Carry out assurance process on auditing carried out to ensure agreed standards are met and auditors are competent
• Investigate individually or lead a team to investigate all serious incidents across the region as identified by the Regional Head for EMEA. Facilitate this process through to full root cause analysis and ensure that ‘lessons learned’ documents are prepared and communicated working closely with the Head of the BU
• Alert the business to any changes to the register of local EHS legislation and ensure they are communicated to all relevant (Projects, offices, etc) teams 
• Based in London but a North West or Midlands base may also be considered

The candidate:

• Degree or post graduate level (BA, BSc, MSc) qualification or Diploma (NEBOSH or equivalent) in Occupational Health & Safety
• Significant experience as a Lead auditor of EHS Management Systems including relevant qualification/training
• Construction background and established EHS Manager level experience accustomed to large scale works and ideally more than just UK wide scope
