Description
A global engineering company affiliated to the oil and gas and construction industry is seeking to appoint a forward-thinking and dynamic Group Health, Safety and Environmental Director to cover their global operations. Covering 30 locations spanning EMEA, Asia Pacific and the Americas, this newly created position reports directly into Board level and would have specific responsibility for the development and implementation of the company's strategic EHS plans. Past experience of the auditing and implementation of OHSAS/ISO standards is required, along with a track record of achievement in a process driven, high risk environment.
You will be required to work with Board members as well as line managers to implement and maintain best practice whilst ensuring the company is performing to a world class safety standard.
It is expected that candidates will have prior experience of working across a global remit at a Director or Senior Group Management level. You will ideally be degree educated, a Chartered member of IOSH and be able to demonstrate continuous professional development.
