Description
Are you a highly motivated and enthusiastic food safety expert? Ideally you will have either a local authority or public sector background, hold an Advanced Food Hygiene Certificate and a nationally recognised Health & Safety qualification. The role is to professionally support the companies many catering outlets, ensuring legislative compliance and developing operational "best practises" within the business. You will be required to carry out regular in-house audits, food sampling and hygiene swabbing along with investigating food safety issues and food complaints. You will need to demonstrate competence in providing food safety assistance to your colleagues along with supporting them in this area when advising our many teams. Relationship building skills along with having the ability to converse at all levels is essential. You must have great organisational skills, along with the drive to challenge processes, ensuring continuous improvement and compliance. Good keyboard skills and basic computer literacy is essential. You must be flexible to work 5 days out of 7 on a rota basis, have a "can do" attitude and be committed to delivering a first class support service.
