Description
A Global leader in the field of natural resources is seeking to appoint a high calibre HSE professional with strong auditing experience. The role will involve the roll-out of a global audit programme across various sites in Europe, Africa, the Far East, North America, and Australia. As part of this process the role will involve overseeing the delivery of external audits (ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001) across international operations. The position will have a London base with 50% global travel. We are seeking an individual with post graduate experience of working within a large organisation with high risk activities, such as oil and gas, mining, construction, power generation or other heavy industry. To apply you must be educated to degree level within a HSE, engineering, or management discipline with a recognised auditing qualification. Due to the international nature of the work we require an individual with experience of working in different countries and cultures. Communication and influencing skills must be first class as there will be extensive liaison with site management teams. Please note that our client will only consider applications that meet the aforementioned criteria of high risk industry experience, international experience, degree qualification and an auditing qualification (preferably Lead Auditor for 18001 or 14001).
