Shirley Parsons Associates recently sponsored The Beaumont Safety Trophy at the CHSG Annual Awards ceremony. This Award is open to all and is awarded for the best new method of working for the prevention of accidents in the Construction Industry. It was won by Knight Harwood for their daily Hazard Awareness Board. This board is placed at every site entrance to raise hazard awareness on the site. It can be erected within minutes of a site opening and can easily be kept up to date. The CHSG recognized the potential of the Board and also praised the simple way in which it can be used to get the safety message across on sites.
